around sg in ? days - #01 bras basah // 16 July 2014

yooohoooo! hehe went to bras basah ytd with piao, sq and bear as part of the asi?d, exploring around sg whee. turned out to be a quite exciting trip in the end, though everyone was feeling sleepy and couldn't take it after lunch. good job everyone -insert the contented mao look here-

first, had lunch at saveur!

duck confit! their specialty! I kinda like the duck :D but the portion was small :( but I think it was still enough hehehe

lemon fizz!

after the meal, piao suggested going to the hotpot place for dessert :p

mao had guilinggao and everyone judged 😾😾 mao likes guilinggao. then the rest had grass jelly w carnation milk, mango and sago and some honeydew sago thing :p

after more food, we wanted to head to bras basah complex but we walked passed nlb and me wanted to go in for a while :) so we made our way to the garden (the louya nth-to-see garden) started camwhoring with sq's monopod and control thingy and this picture is very funny cos just compare our expression with piao's HAHAHA.

next, went to koi to buy a drink while sq went to starbucks to get her free coffee?
then went to the national design centre feeling quite excited.

turns out that there were no exhibitions (except for a few pathetic ones) and the whole place was like so. dam. empty. there was this shop called kapok which sold alot of diff stuff ranging from clothes to tea leaves?? then spotted this extremely big banner (?) and teehee camwhore time!

it was alr around 6.15pm when we reached there and last entry was supposedly at 6pm but the counter guy just let us in :p went into one gallery on the second lvl, came out from ground floor and had to go up to the second lvl again. otw to the next gallery, we got distracted by this thing

it was a pillar of words and you are supposed to mix and match to form phrases or sentences :D seemed quite fun! and look what rpiao and rbear did.

HAHAHA. R!

next stop was national museum! quite boring actl since only the living galleries were open (it was 7pm alr) and mao went there before.

hehe then it was time to go home! bear and I had dinner at amk after that, wanted to eat @ 18chefs but eventually, the queue was too long so we went to the kpt :p
