day 124 - saturday rants // 13 September 2014
9:28 PM
so there goes another day full of regrets, from suddenly deciding to get note 3 (despite the fact that dad has alr ordered s4) to not mugging at home to my dinner choice at fish and co with the fam. omg i'm such a bad decision maker that all my decisions will get me into trouble sooner or later.

on a side note, one of the decisions that i don't regret now is prob taking h2 bio during jc. i rmb that i was always complaining abt h2 bio - the amt of nonsense we had to memorise, how strict the bio dept was, how useless it seemed, etc. it was a good thing that i took h2 bio cos part of the pharm curriculum involves h2 bio and goodness knows how lost i'll be (and even more lagging behind the rest) if i didn't take h2 bio :> hahaha i guess it came out quite useful after all, and we're gonna be learning DNA replication and transcription regulation soon (woots).

i kinda feel a lil stressed + intimidated now :\ by all the people currently mugging their heads off as i'm typing this. sighhh, i need to find my 'i-love-learning' feel back urgently :( i work with passion, not with pressure from others expecting me to do well. i can safely say that i know what's happening currently, like the content of the lectures, but surely not 100% confident. which makes things more scary, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing." quote this GP teacher whom i can't rmb who exactly. because you think you know everything (which is usually not the case), you tend to be complacent and slack off, and that's when other ppl overtake you as they're constantly improving.

no matter what happens, i still don't believe in blind memorising (unless it's for anat) or staying up till 12/1/2/3/4 just to mug - i don't like wasting brain capacity and certainly don't want to risk my health/face for the sake of CAP.

i will start mugging at 100% capacity on monday. i will and i must to save myself and to be on the right side of the bell curve.

if only CAP didn't matter.
