MAO CANNOT STOP SNEEZING
ever since mao returned from botanic gardens + woke up after an hour's nap
using tissues at ~1 tissue every 3 mins .___. since like 6 plus?
for a certain amt of time my nose will keep running then for the rest i'll just keep sneezing and sneezing >:( 2-3 times somemore, confirm someone cursing mao T^T
maybe i need to take some antihistamines x.x

oh yes! went to botanic gardens w joann today after anat hall! ^~^
but sad didn't get to touch the brain :( and the intestines?
joann kept saying that it'll be a romantic trip (?)
dun really get the link cos mao never associates parks (leaves + trees) with being romantic /contented look/, didn't know it was just behind the mrt station even though sometimes I go by bg way to hc :3

but you know what, the place was huge!! swan lake was like 1.7m away from the very first sign we saw when we entered the park, we kept looking for signs and the decrease in distance is so pathetic like you thought you've walked for so long when you've only walked like 100m??

met the first animals - pigeons! lots and lots of them foraging and pecking on the seeds on the ground :D making their coo-coo sounds hoho, and we kept hearing the koels (they resemble crows but their eyes are red - freaky) which make those high-pitched sounds you hear in the morning and they're intelligent but cruel animals who take advantage of their resemblance to crows to make them (the crows) nest their eggs instead >:( (and the crows' eggs are destroyed/eaten?) then the crows still dumb dumb thought those are their eggs and they continue to nest them until they hatch and realised that the chicks look weird HAHA, anyway didn't see any of them cos they were hiding up in the trees and well, they're black and kinda well camouflaged?

halfway we saw a displaced black swan on the ground! i think it wanted to go back to its 'home' but the banglas cutting the grass kept chasing it away >:( 2 lessons learnt! never run away from home + perseverance is the key! (it was edging closer and closer to home) amazing what things you can learn from animals ^^ joann kept saying that it was a goose (cos it looks weird and clumsy on land :D) but i was telling her cos she never saw a swan on land before - the body  and butt is dam big, legs dam skinny HAHA

reached swan lake with little expectations, only expected to see the whole lake filled with swans but there were like 3 white swans altgt? rather pathetic but we managed to chance upon a swimming water monitor lizard (quite cute!), catfish, other fish, turtles, pondskaters, red and blue dragonflies (not your typical dull ones - rather fascinating!) and waterhens - they're really small, shy and move quickly

mao kinda expected the swans to like be quite active swimming around the lake, interacting w each other, foraging for food and stuff but they were spending 90% of the time preening (cleaning itself) which was rather boring -.- they were gathering in the center, then when they finished preening we were like eh it's moving!! the swan glides across the water, goes to the other side (land), feeds on the food in the food bucket and then guess what - starts preening again -___- prob there were many parasites there? (we saw alot of small disgusting things on the surface of the water, erps) hahaha but the swans' head + neck is really like our hands, oh and their neck is dam longggg
for some reason the feathers on their neck really looks like fur - mao wanna touch >:(
they're such graceful creatures ^~^
i won't mind being a swan in my next life 8) - CAN FLY AND SWIM,
and they only have one life partner which is so sweet ^~^
(unless the partner dies then the swan finds another one lols)

fast forward to now, didn't know there were so many weird ppl in pharm;
but some of them have legit issues/problems
and conclusion of the day is, the cute guys in pharm are weirddd T-T,
except for this guy but idk if that's cos no one that mao knows
really knows him well enough to judge :P

mao feeling quite happy 'cos cny is coming + tomolo no school YOZ!
adding on to the collection!
